Session 1: Oracy Benchmarks

Welcome to Session 1/3 of the Voice 21 Oracy school Membership Series! 

In this session, we will explore the foundations of what a high quality oracy education could look like in your school through the lens of the Oracy Benchmarks. The Oracy Benchmarks - which can be downloaded below - will support you in planning a consistent and evidence-based approach to creating and implementing your vision for oracy across your whole school. 

Join Kate Wescott as she guides you and your team through this session, using the Oracy Benchmarks as foundational principles to shape and refine your oracy strategy.

You don’t need to prepare anything for this session but you can follow along by downloading a copy of the Oracy Benchmarks below.

This session is 15 minutes and includes time for reflection and discussion with colleagues.
