The Membership Series
Explore our three-part Membership Series to learn about Voice 21 Membership and get ready to join in September.
The Voice 21 Membership
Voice 21 equips educators with the oracy expertise to transform their students' learning and life chances through talk.
We work across a multi-year period with schools to develop a whole-school approach to oracy education through tailored support, expert professional development and a strategic approach to implementation.
Membership includes everything schools need to implement a strategic, whole-school oracy plan that spans across classroom practice, curriculum design and whole school culture, including:
- Dedicated support from a School Relationship Officer and an Oracy Expert, In-person CPD tailored for your oracy leads
- Unlimited access to the Voice 21 Exchange - our online, self-serve CPD hub complete with oracy-specific learning modules for all staff, not just teachers
- Annual impact measurement tools to track and evaluate progress
Together, these elements give schools the guidance, training, and resources to make oracy ordinary for every child.

Schools join us for a minimum of one year. Working towards becoming an accredited Voice 21 Centre of Excellence takes a minimum of three years.
School Leads will attend an in-school consultancy day (1 day) and the Oracy Champions will attend their Pathway Programme (2.5 days). They will need time throughout the year to plan, complete tasks and do online modules. They will also need time set aside in the school calendar for Oracy in inset days, staff or departmental meetings to share learning and cascade oracy across the school.
